A new look for suitable marine surfaces, with the installation planned around the vessel.
WRAPSTYLE SYDNEY / BOAT WRAPS
WrapStyle applies its design and film installation experience to boats and selected yacht interiors. We can discuss exterior colour changes, custom graphics, names and branding, as well as architectural finishes for suitable internal cabinetry and panels.
A marine project needs more than a colour choice. The existing finish, salt exposure, sunlight, surface shape and access all affect the material and installation. We assess those conditions before agreeing the work.
An exterior wrap can change the appearance of suitable above-waterline surfaces or add a custom printed design. Selected solid colours, graphic layouts and identification elements offer different ways to personalise a vessel.
Decorative film is a surface finish, not a structural repair, hull coating or substitute for antifouling. Areas exposed to continuous immersion, rubbing, abrasion or unsuitable substrates need specific assessment. We agree the application boundaries before ordering material.
Our designers can develop a restrained colour layout or a more individual graphic scheme. We consider the proportions of the hull and the design’s position around fittings and other features.
Branding and boat names can be included in the brief. Supply the preferred wording, logo files and references, and tell us about any identification markings that must remain visible.

Paint, gelcoat, coatings, old graphics and repairs need to be understood. Oxidation, contamination or an unstable finish can prevent a reliable installation. Damage that needs repair should be addressed before the film is applied.
We discuss where the work will take place and whether haul-out, a trailer, safe access or another arrangement is needed. Those requirements and responsibilities belong in the quotation and project plan.
Send the vessel type, approximate dimensions, current finish, areas to be wrapped, location and photographs. Include the planned access arrangements and timing. We then discuss preparation, design, material and installation rather than publish one price range for every boat.

Built-in yacht joinery is often difficult to replace. Architectural film can refresh suitable cupboards, doors, tables and decorative panels while retaining the fittings beneath them.
Wood, stone and metallic effects can be considered alongside solid finishes. We assess curves, edges, moisture and heat exposure before recommending a product. A timber-look film changes the finish; it does not repair water-damaged board or failing joinery.
Follow the chosen film’s instructions and remove contamination gently. Rubbing against fenders, sharp equipment and aggressive cleaning can damage a wrap. Salt and sunlight make regular inspection useful, particularly at exposed edges.
We do not recommend vinyl on exposed horizontal boat or yacht surfaces. In our experience in Australian conditions, it typically lasts around one year and at most two years in these areas, making it poor value. This workshop experience is specific to exposed horizontal surfaces and should be distinguished from hull-side wrapping.
If a section is damaged, contact us with photographs. Local replacement may be possible, but ageing, product availability and the pattern affect how closely it matches. Do not expect the film to repair damage to the substrate beneath it.

We can assess suitable painted or finished surfaces. The material alone does not establish suitability; condition, coatings, geometry and exposure must be checked.
Do not assume a decorative film is suitable for continuous immersion. We confirm the application area and any manufacturer restrictions for the exact product. A decorative wrap is not antifouling.
The costs need comparing for the actual vessel and scope. Preparation and access can be substantial, and paint repairs may still be needed before wrapping.
Yes, selected interior panels and joinery can be assessed independently of the hull. Send photographs and the finish you want so we can identify suitable areas.
It may take some everyday surface wear, but it is not a barrier against heavy rubbing, cuts or impact damage. Appropriate fenders and careful handling remain necessary.
